Why You Want Me Wednesday #8

Today’s Why You Want Me Wednesday is something that I, Johnnie Cash, think everyone should and will love about me – so let’s jump right in, shall we?

snuggle6

Since my foster family has this silly rule about me not being allowed on the furniture, snuggling must occur on the floor. Lucky for me they like to snuggle just as much as I do, so floor-snuggling happens a lot. Especially when it’s late at night and foster mama is ready for bed but I most definitely am not. She tricks my by pulling me onto her lap and rocking me so smoothly that I almost instantly drift off! If I am too excited I will think that an attempt to cuddle is an attempt to play (I mean, they’re equally fun, right?), but if I’m at all chillin’ them I’m ready for some snugglin’.

My hopes are that my forever family won’t mind if I’m on the bed or at least on the couch so that I can snuggle when we watch tv or when they’re reading a book or when they’re working on their laptop or really whenever! In the mean time, I’ll enjoy cuddling on the floor with my foster dad.

Why You Want Me Wednesday #7

Let’s see if we can remember all the fabulous reasons why you want me: I’m a lap dog, I’m a great partner in crime, I am a very silly sleeper, I look fab in a dress, I will spend sunny afternoons snoozing with you and I’m a kick butt passenger in the car!

This week, I’d like to point out the following:

specialbdaysEveryone loves feeling special on their birthday. The thing is, I make my humans feel extra special every day because of how excited I am to see them pretty much all the time. I give kisses galore and I trot around after you like you’re just the best thing since sliced dog treats.  This means that I’ll continue to make you feel special on your birthday too! Who wouldn’t want my wiggly bundle of loving to greet you on your birthday morning?

If you know anyone who would love to adopt me and feel extra special on their birthday and every other day, send them my foster mama’s way! Xoxo, Johnnie Cash.

Why You Want Me Wednesday #6

Many of the past Why You Want Me Wednesdays have revolved around my love for sleeping. In a unique way, this week’s reason is along the same lines. Check me out:

car

I am one of the best car riders foster mama has ever had! Especially if the heat is on or there is a sun spot in the back seat – I fall absolutely right to sleep. Foster mama says I have great manners and that I don’t move all over the place or try to bug her while she’s driving or any of that nonsense – which, oddly enough, is a far cry from my behavior the first time she ever took me in a car back in October before I was ever a foster dog! For my own safety mama talks about needing to get me some kind of seat belt or something, but that she’s dragging her paws in getting it because I’m so good already!

See – I’m either sitting quietly or snoozing away! Doesn’t get much better than that!

Why You Want Me Wednesday

Why You Want Me Wednesday is your one-stop-shop for all the fabulous reasons why I’ll be your next best friend! So far I’ve proven to be a fabulous lap dog, a great adventuring partner and a really silly sleeper who will make you laugh!

Today I’m sharing my fashion-forward style with you to show what a fab accessory I’ll be at the end of your leash! This week, the reason you want me is:

dress

That’s right. I rock the pink like nobody’s business. Yes, I know I have a boy’s name – but all the better reason to show my feminine side, right? Besides, it totally impresses all the boy doggies. . . hehe. Do you think it will impress my forever family?

Why You Want Me Wednesday

Thanks to the past two Wednesdays, you now know that I am a great lap dog and that I’ll join you on adventures. Today, I’m here to tell you a very silly reason why you want me:

goofball

That’s right. I combine my love for being a yoga dog (which you saw yesterday) with my love for a good snooze to bring you your daily giggle. Or, as it seems from the way my Foster Mama responds, your daily confused head shake.  Check out my yoga legs in some of these shots!

I would like to point out for those of you who are getting the wrong impression from this post. . . I am a heavy sleeper, but only when I get plenty of exercise ;-)

Why You Want Me Wednesday

There are SO MANY reasons why you should want to adopt me! Last week I told you about how I’m a fabuloso lap dog. This week, the reason why you want me is:

01

I’m especially partners in crime/adventure with Foster Dad. We do all sorts of fun things together, like investigate new places, practice our tricks in front of invisible crowds, spend some time chillin’ just us two and of course horsing around.

These are all the things you and I will be able to do together, when you adopt me!

Why You Want Me Wednesday

Foster mama says there are a gajillion reasons why someone should want to adopt me. She says there are so many reasons that they all deserve their own post. So from now on, every Wednesday I will tell you a reason why you want me in your family.

Today’s reason:

lap

Yep, that’s right. My compact 40ish pound body loves to find its way on and around your lap. Sometimes it even happens without you noticing. . . one second you’re petting me and the next second – bam! I’m curled up in your lap. See for yourself!

Am I not the cutest thing ever, or what?
