Video: A Journey’s End

You all didn’t think I’d let you get away without a final video from Big Bruno, did you?

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here is the video from the first half of Baxter’s journey, courtesy of Big Bruno. Many of you saw it in this post about where Baxter came from. It’s tough to watch because Baxter was really different from the way he is now.

Don’t worry, next is the happy ending! Big Bruno just completed this video about Baxter’s recovery at Jasmine’s House, his time with me, and finally – the best part! – him in his new home. You HAVE to check out the end of this where he is running around with his new sister : -)

I can’t think of a better way to wrap up Baxter’s story, and to highlight what is really now quite the beginning for him. Thanks Bruno!

And thank you to everyone else who has shared in this roller coaster ride with us, showering us with insanely nice and positive comments the whole time and especially at the announcement of his adoption. You all are the best followers a crazy newbie blogger could ask for!

  1. What a way to start my day…sobbing from sadness then joy lol! My heart breaks for all the dogs out there who don’t find Baxter’s path, but I’m so grateful for people like Big Bruno, Juliana and those at Jasmine House for picking up the slack of the lesser humans out there. God bless them all and Bruno on his new journey!! Thanks for sharing. I’m off to get a tissue.

I have truly loved following Baxter on his journey to his forever home! Even though I’ve watched that first video several times, I still sob all the way through it., How fitting that I only have smiles when I watch the 2nd video!! I called this a Happy Ending, but it is truly that AND a Happy Beginning for Baxter too!! Words just can’t compare with the actions that you’ve all done to make sure this gorgeous, loving pup got the good life he deserves. Dog lovers everywhere are indebted to you!! <3 <3 <3

  6. What a happy ending! I am so sorry Baxter’s life didn’t begin as well as he deserved. But what matters the most is that he is in the best home now and the rest of his life will be full of now. Thanks again for being a part of his new life.

After receiving both videos from the Jasmine’s House FB page yesterday, I have shared them via email and FB, etc., etc. (some might say) ad nauseum. Just so proud of Baxter – and so grateful for MCHS, Big Bruno, Jasmine’s House – and YOU!
