Baxter has made his real life modeling debut! Last week the spring edition of the Virginia-Maryland Dog magazine came out, with Bax as its cover boy.
An incredible article was written by Aleks from Love and a Six-Foot Leash about rescue dog triumphs. Three dogs were featured: Lily Fireworks (formerly known as Lollie), a foster turned happy family dog, Annie, a deaf dog who was rescued & adopted through Bully Paws, and adoptable Baxter. Aleks wrote about each dog’s story, describing how shelters & rescues played a role in saving these dogs who might not have had a chance otherwise. The article was beautifully written, and paired with great photos taken by Aleks and the magazine photographer, Fuzzy Pants Photography. Bax & I even snuck our way in there together!
The Virginia-Maryland Dog magazine is an up-and-coming magazine focusing on all things dog, both specific to the region and just in general. The magazine is bursting with color – organized in a crisp, easy-to-read fashion. The articles, contributed by professionals in the field, cover a wide range of topics. This season’s edition features articles about becoming a foster (yay!), poop scooping laws, recommended getaways, health advice, and more. Fun and educational? Sign me up! The website is also super informative. Baxter & I could not be more thrilled to have gotten the chance to be featured in this magazine! For information about where to get the VA-MD Dog magazine, check out their distribution information, or sign up for a subscription.
So there is actually one thing that Baxter’s article states that is no longer true anymore. . .
